Emerging Public Leaders’

Inaugural Alumni Network Gathering

Celebrating Youth-led Contributions to Good Governance

4 - 6 March 2024

Sportsview Hotel, Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya

In partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, Emerging Public Leaders Alumni Network is being launched at our first international event, set up specifically to facilitate and guide the establishment of the Alumni Network. We are thrilled that more than thirty Alumni will join us for the event in Nairobi, as representatives of Alumni Associations from each country, and to be part of the consultation process that helps define the future of the network and greater youth inclusion in public governance.

During this gathering, we will have alumni representation from the three countries that cuts across Ministries, Departments, and specialisms. The event will very much celebrate the 15th anniversary year of the first cohort in 2009. We have made sure that at least 50% of participants are women alongside our four dynamic and inspirational women country directors and executive directors.
