Founded in 2009 by Former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and EPL’s Executive Director, Betsy Williams, The President’s Young Professionals Program (PYPP) of Liberia is a prestigious and highly-selective two-year program that recruits and places recent Liberian university graduates into government fellowships. PYPP prepares highly qualified Liberian youth for leadership in public service and equips them with the tools to contribute to the overall development of Liberia.

Today, PYPP has recruited and placed 120+ Liberian leaders into civil service positions, 90%+ of whom continue to serve in the Government of Liberia post-fellowship.

During the program, fellows gain the skills they need to support the government’s top priorities, while mobilizing their leadership journeys. After program completion, alumni become part of a lifelong network.

PYPP classes are usually recruited in August or September annually. For up-to-date application information and criteria, visit PYPP Liberia online and follow them on Facebook.
